How It Works?

Our Process

Our correctional work process is thorough and patient-focused, beginning with an in-depth consultation to assess the client's needs and previous filler applications. This initial meeting allows us to understand your concerns and goals, ensuring a tailored approach. Following the consultation, a skin test for hyaluronidase is conducted to ensure there are no allergic reactions. Once cleared, the dissolving process is carefully performed, and a review session is scheduled to assess the results. After a week, if desired, refilling is done to achieve the final aesthetic enhancement. This structured, step-by-step process guarantees safety, precision, and satisfaction for each client.
What is Correctional Work?
Correctional work in aesthetics involves addressing and rectifying issues related to previous cosmetic treatments. This can include problems like filler migration, asymmetry, lumps, or dissatisfaction with the results of previous filler applications. The primary goal is to restore a natural appearance and improve the overall aesthetic outcome. Using specialized techniques and products like hyaluronidase, which dissolves unwanted filler, correctional work ensures that any complications or undesired results are effectively managed. At Symmetry Aesthetics, our correctional work is performed by experienced practitioners who prioritize safety and efficacy.
What does the treatment actually involve?
The correctional treatment process begins with a detailed consultation to evaluate the client's concerns and discuss potential solutions. If dissolving existing filler is necessary, a skin test for hyaluronidase is conducted to rule out allergies. Once the skin test is passed, the hyaluronidase enzyme is injected into the areas where filler needs to be dissolved. This process breaks down the filler safely and effectively. After the filler is dissolved, we wait a week to allow the skin to settle before assessing the need for refilling. During the refill phase, new filler is carefully injected to achieve the desired aesthetic results, ensuring a balanced and natural look. Speak to our expert team today.

Most Popular Questions

No, theories regarding the cause of rosacea include reaction to microbes, but the rash does not spread via touch. Antibiotic treatment is thought to be effective due to its anti-inflammatory properties rather than because of its antibacterial properties.

Rosacea is generally a long-term recurring condition. In some people treatment settles the symptoms quickly and for a long period, but others may need repeated treatments, or may need to try different treatments. Some people may need to treat almost continuously.

Rosacea is most likely to develop between the ages of 30 and 60. But cases have been seen in children and younger adults.

Doctors sometimes divide rosacea into four subtypes, but most people overlap the groups. They are:

  • Erythematotelangiectatic – skin redness and thread veins.
  • Papulopustular – pimples, papules and pustules.
  • Phymatous - thickening and swelling especially of the nose (rhinophyma).
  • Ocular – eye symptoms.

Rosacea is thought to affect around 5% of the worldwide population. It is more common in less pigmented skin, but can be found across all skin types. Rosacea may be present in up to 1 in 10 Caucasians, but most of these cases will be mild. About 14% of Caucasian women have rosacea and about 5% of men. The more severe cases of rosacea, including rhinophyma, tend to be in men.
